All of the current clinical research trials at Premier Pain Centers are approved by an Internal Review Board and are closely regulated by the US Federal Drug Administration.  Participation in clinical research trials are completely voluntary.

Leg Pain Holding You Back?

This study is being conducted to determine whether mild electrical stimulation can provide pain relief in people with post-amputation residual limb (stump) or phantom limb pain.

The investigational device and all study related care is provided at no cost.

You may be eligible to participate in this study if:

  • You are 18 years of age or older
  • You have had at least one lower extremity amputation
  • You are experiencing residual limb (stump) and/or phantom limb pain

Do you suffer from CRPS of the lower extremity?

The purpose of this research study is to evaluate continued safety of the FDA approved Axium™ Neurostimulator System for the management of chronic, intractable, lower extremity pain resulting from Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) I or II. In order to evaluate continued safety of the device, you will be evaluated for adverse events (complications or side effects) over a 12 month period. There are no aspects of this clinical study that are considered experimental.

You may be eligible to participate in the study if:

  • You are between the ages of 22 and 75 years of age.
  • You have moderate to severe chronic intractable pain of the lower limbs resulting from Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) types I or II.
